Saturday Sept. 8 was a great night of racing at the PASS sanctioned Riverside Speedway. The Thunder Road Tigers returned to Riverside after a few years of being absent. The 17 Tigers that made the trip put on a great show. It would be nice for them to return to competition next year, but who knows.
The Daredevil Novice division started the evening off. The 6 of Eric Charbonneau started on the pole, with the 47 of Randy Whittum outside. Whittum takes the lead, and the 2 of Curtis Randall moves into 3rd. The 75 of Andrew Fecteau gets into Charbonneau, sending him rather hard into the wall, ending Charbonneau’s evening of racing. Whittum took the restart as the 73 of Riley Hartshorn moves into 3rd, then 2nd. Hartshorn on fire moves to the lead on lap 4. On lap 11 Randall scrapes the wall, which allows the 93 of Cameron Bowen to move to 2nd. Hartshorn takes the win, followed by Bowen and Whittum.

Dilyn takes the lead as the 72 of Cody Hodge moved to 3rd. On lap 18 Lambert regains 3rd. At the line it is Dilyn Switser, followed by Jesse Switser and Brandon Lambert.
With fear of possible rain coming in, the Tigers were moved up to run next. The 09 of Joey Becker started on the pole, with the 94 of Lil Brendan Moodie outside. Moodie took the lead, but couldn’t hold it as Becker took the lead. Joey Roberts in the 74 moved into 2nd on lap 3. On lap 18, and 22 Moodie tries outside of Roberts, but just can’t get it done. On lap 28 Moodie again runs the outside, but this time makes it stick, and overtakes 2nd. Staying outside, he goes by Becker on lap 30 for the lead. Moodie takes the win, and does a nice smoke show on the back stretch. He is followed across the line by Becker, Roberts. Rounding out the top 5 was the 68 of Derrick O’Donnell, and the 90of Tony Rossi.
